To get you ready, here are some items you should be aware of:
School Supplies
This year, our school will be teaching all students organizational skills via the AVID (Achievement Via Individual Determination) method. To view school supplies, click on this link.
Immunizations & Vaccines
All Metro Schools students must have an immunization record on file with their school.
Rising 7th graders must also provide their school with updated records that include proof of the TDAP booster immunization.
Immunizations are available through your child’s doctor or the Metro Public Health Department at the Lentz, East and Woodbine Health Center locations.
Bus Stop/Transportation
Visit the Metro Schools Transportation webpages for information on finding your bus stop.
Dress Code
It is the intent of JT Moore to provide an environment that is safe and comfortable for all students. Students are free to maintain their personal expression without fear of unnecessary shaming or disciplinary action. However, to maintain a safe, respectful, and orderly environment, please visit the Dress Code page for our 2022-2023 policy.

August 8, 2022: First Day of School – 8:55am to 3:55pm
Stay up to Date!
As a parent at JT Moore, we invite you to use the school online directory, EVRITS. This is important for us to be able to contact you and your student. For security purposes you must first register to use the program.
Most importantly, you’ll be able to receive important e-communications from teachers and the school. But also, to ensure that your family is in the school directory the way you want it listed, and if you are needing a carpool or to contact your student’s friends or teammates or class-project partners, you can search for other families, who agreed to publish their info, by zip code, city or street name.
