J.T. Moore has award-winning band and string programs. Students are welcome to join as early as 5th grade and participate in a variety of performances, ensembles and clubs. 5th graders are exposed to the available instruments early in the year so that they can determine what is a good “fit” for them.
All incoming 5th grade students are enrolled in the related arts rotation of classes which includes Visual Arts, Coding/STEM, and Physical Education. The alternative option that JT Moore has available is to enroll in Band or Strings music classes which then take the place of the related arts rotation. For parents who wish for their child to enroll in either Band or Strings for the 2021-22 academic school year, please fill out this form. You only need to complete this form if you want your child to take STRINGS or BAND in place of the related arts rotation and your child is a 5th grade student.
