Academic Resources

Academics

As parents of middle school students, we know that each of our children has their own unique strengths, talents, and learning styles.

What we love

JT Moore offers a wide range of opportunities for every one of our students to succeed, grow, and excel. Starting with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, JT Moore embraces the IB Learning profile. The profile aims to develop learners who are:

  • Inquirers
  • Knowledgeable
  • Thinkers
  • Communicators
  • Principled
  • Open-minded
  • Caring
  • Risk-takers
  • Balanced
  • Reflective

Balancing a rigorous focus on the core academic subjects with a holistic view of developing our children and connecting to our community, the JT Moore IB Program serves as a guidepost for our students through their middle school years.

JT Moore offers experiences for all students through the integrated approach to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and through the CAREER EXPLORATION program, as well as opportunities for advanced learning projects through the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) courses.

The faculty and staff of JT Moore continue a tradition of excellence in providing quality educational experiences for our students. We offer the structure, academic environment and caring atmosphere to enable students to be successful. Each student is treated with respect and encouraged to reach his or her highest potential. A broad curriculum meets the academic needs of students at all educational levels.
