Thursday, May 20th | PTO Meeting and Campus Cleanup
On Thursday, May 20, come join us for a PTO meeting at 9:00am in the front courtyard to vote on the proposed PTO budget and new board members for the 2021-2022 school year! Immediately following the meeting, we’ll spend the morning cleaning up our campus! If you plan to stick around feel free to bring some of the following items:
• Work gloves / gardening gloves
• Shovels
• Rakes
• Hoes
• Small garden tools (trowels, pruning shears)
• Water bottle
Friday, May 21st | 5th,6th and 8th Grade Field Day and Graduation Practice
5th & 6th Grade:
All 5th & 6th grade Matador students (virtual and in-person) are invited to field day on Friday, May 21st! from 9:15am-11:15am. Please refer to your student’s teacher emails for more detailed information. Sno Cones provided for all students by PTO.
8th Grade
On Friday, May 21st, all 8th Grade Matadors (virtual and in-person) will be having graduation practice, movie in the auditorium, pizza for lunch and field day!
- 9:10am – 10:10am Graduation Practice
- 12:15pm – 12:55pm LUNCH Pizza Provided by PTO
- 1pm – 3:15pm Kickball Tournament / Outdoor Day (Field Day)
May 24th | 8th Grade Graduation and Celebration!
On Monday, May 24th, our 2021 8th Grade Matadors (virtual and in-person) will be graduating! The morning will be filled with teacher activities, followed by graduation pictures, graduation ceremony and an evening filled with celebration and ceremony screening at Green Hills Park.
9:15am – 12:40pm – teacher activities and photos
1:20pm – 1:30pm Change into Cap & Gown
1:35pm – 1:45pm Get seated & situated in the auditorium
2:00pm – 3:00pm Awards/ Graduation
- IB Awards In-person + Virtual
- Spanish NSE awards
- Graduation Ceremony
3:05pm – 3:40pm Cake & Punch in the Cafeteria for the graduates
7:00pm – Graduation celebration and Screening
Come celebrate the JT Moore class of 2021 at Green Hills Park starting at 7:00pm. We’ll be streaming the graduation ceremony at 8pm. All 8th graders are encouraged to wear their cap and gowns to the screening. Essie and Olive will be on site with their wholesome, all-natural frozen pops! Bring blankets, chairs, and family to celebrate.
May 25th | 7th Grade Field Day!
All 7th grade Matador students (virtual and in-person) are invited to field day on Tuesday, May 25th! from 10:15am – 11:45am. We’ll also be having brunch from 9:40am – 10:10am (in-person). Please refer to your student’s teacher emails for more detailed information.
