Dear Matador Families,

We are deeply saddened to hear about the shooting incident that took place at the Covenant School in Green Hills yesterday. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims and all those affected by this tragic event. That school and those families will need our love and support for many years to come, and JT Moore Middle School stands in solidarity with all of the folks at Covenant School.

We know that this news can be unsettling and may cause concern about the safety of our own school community. Please know that we take the safety and well-being of our students and staff very seriously. We have implemented several measures to ensure the safety of our school, including regular safety drills, security cameras, and a new security vestibule. We also encourage all parents and students to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or activity to school officials or law enforcement immediately.
