Hello JTM! I am organizing teams for the Perennial Math contest Saturday March 28 (morning), which is at USN this year. This event is great because it has both an individual and a group solving portion. Students have had a great time every year we have entered this contest, and I would like to have teams from all grades (5-8) again. We can enter multiple teams per grade. This is a very accessible contest, and all students are encouraged to consider participating if you enjoy math.
Please email me if you are interested. There will be four practices (the week of Feb 24, week of March 2, week of March 9, and week of March 23), and the day of week has not been decided yet. A reminder will go out beforehand. Teams need to be 4-5 people each, and will not be formally determined until our first meeting.
